A Fun Weekend

My husband and I had a spontaneous night out to help raise money for Quilts for Quake Survivors though an Etsy Craft Party and I Heart Art: Portland event at the Museum of Contemporary Craft. I did not expect at any point in the evening my husband would be chatting with ladies making an origami Yoda while I was waiting to needle felt across the room, I loved it! Yes that's my Sea Glass quilt hanging there. All the quilts will be on display and for sale this month at the museum. If you can't make it to the museum you can still see them here on the Modern Domestic website.

I did get into the studio for sewing working on a few mug rugs for my daughters teacher and a volunteer friend at the school.I am also finally making progress on the Curlicue Quilt.

Oh and a bonus we won some fun raffle prizes at the fundraiser Susan Beals World of Geekcraft and a great gift bag from Bolt!
