Chicken Update

Look how big they are...

This picture was from 4 weeks ago. I have to say I think they are very pretty and they are all named now Coco (as in Coco Vaughn), Pippy, Peepers, and Sprinkles.

Sprinkles is mine and she flies up to the edge of the box whenever anyone comes into the room.

My husband and I have been building the condo coop for them and it's been a huge task! We worked on it all day Friday and then while I took the kids up to Mt Hood for an overnight school activity he and my Dad worked most of the weekend. My husband is 6'5" so yes it is huge and did I mention it's in our front yard! We are really ready to move them outside. The laundry room is getting covered in dust and doesn't always smell so fresh. On the 30th they will be 6 weeks old and weather permitting will be moving out of the house.

Chicken cooks ARE a huge task! We have ducks, which have kept us in eggs in the warm months. Good luck with your chicks!
