Weekend Away

Last weekend I got away for a few days with some friends to a cabin in Sisters. I was the only quilter out of the three of us but I was able to have some uninterrupted sewing time and with such a beautiful view it was perfect.

I brought my scrap bins and did a lot of cutting for my scrap attack x & + quilt. I finished my first group of blocks and I lurve them!!

We also made a trip into town to the Stitchin Post. It was so nice to be there when it wasn't packed to the gills with quilters as it was during the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. Of course I couldn't resist and bought some yummy voiles after being inspired by a Valori Wells Voile quilt which was on display. I'm sorry I don't have a pic to share but fabric coming soon.
