This is before they were sewn together and I was moving the blocks around.

This is one that I just couldn't stand,
I made this one last block to replace it.
I'm bringing the finished top and back to Nancy Wednesday and I can't wait to see it quilted. How would you quilt this block?

oh, it's absolutely lovely. each block has so much character, and yet the whole works terrifically together. love it!
This is one of the best scrap quilts I've seen. Your picture makes it look like an encaustic painting. Great use of black.
