It's that time again and I'm excited to participate in the Bloggers' Quilt Festival. Amy has done an amazing job putting together so many sponsors and the quilts WOW I am glad we have some time to go through them all!

This year I am submitting the Wedding Quilt I made for my Sister-in-law. It was my first Queen sized quilt and a combination of traditional log cabin blocks and improv piecing.
It was BIG and overwhelming at times but I love it and happily they do too!
There was a little quail fabric and quilting thrown in for the quail theme in their desert wedding.
For the Groom there was a light saber in the quilting among other hidden things. All of the quilting was done by the amazing Nancy Stovall.
Thanks for stopping by and have fun looking through the festival!!

Love this quilt.
Love your color choices. I especially like the yellow it really sets off the blocks.
Hey, this is a fantastic quilt! I love the colours, the improv piecing and hiding things in quilting is super fun. I bet they do just love it - well done!
This is a super fun improv quilt! I love those bits of red{?} on the front!!
Really lovely!
i love this quilt so much! it is so beautiful!
Looks great! I love how you incorporated their tastes in the fabric selection. The bright pink on the back is a nice pop. I sure this will be treasured for a very long time.
It's a dark raspberry color that picks up the color in the dots of the Jay Mccarroll fabric it's one of my favorite parts.
Thank you
Petra, lovely! You have such a knack for color, fabric and placement. Well done.
This is gorgeous - love the movement and color!
Fun fabric choices and wonderful modern layout. Thanks for sharing!
Nice job with the improv. i really like how it's concentrated in the center with the wide borders and a little accent breaking out. Also the border fabric inside a few of the blocks really makes the composition work.
Great quilt!
I think this is one of my favorites. Wonderful quilt!
