Our group from 12 o'clock Gail W, Paula Wessells, Heather Davidson, Rachel, and Jill Collins. A very talented and fun group. I am so glad we could have almost 4 days together sewing, laughing, eating, and drinking!
The view every morning and only about 5 minutes from Sisters.
Here are a few quilts that caught my eye.
Quilt by Anne Richardson
Quilt my Monica Solorio-Snow with her new fabric line.
Quilt by Rachel.
I was planning on getting names for the quilts when I went back around if you know any of these please let me know and I will update my post.
Selvage detail.
Early morning crowd.
This is how the quilts are hung all over town.
A horrible picture of my quilt, lesson of the weekend bring the battery charger for the camera all photos were taken with my iPhone.
For the first time in 37 years the show was rained out. The downpour started when Susan and I were on hostess duty and we started running around taking down about 25 quilts and Susan deputized some PMQG members to help. I heard that the volunteers managed to take down almost 1,000 quilts in 10 minutes and very few were soaked. The rain was torrential shortly after the below photo was taken I was so glad all the quilts were safe!

Love the last photo of you and Susan. Sounds like fun was had by all!
oh my gracious. i can only imagine how frantic everyone was taking them down! i would have been so afraid! what a fun weekend petra! my sister lives in east wenatchee and one of these years we are going to go to sisters for the show!
Oh! You have just made me quite homesick! I grew up in Central Oregon and spent a lot of time in Sisters...I miss those mountains!!! My husband and I moved to South Carolina last year for a job but we both can't wait to move back. Oregon will forever be our home!
All the quilts are gorgeous! I am just getting into quilting and hope someday to be a part of the Sisters quilt show! Looks like so much fun! And that's crazy it rained! But as they say..."Welcome to Central Oregon, if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change." haha We have even had snow on the 4th of July there!
It already seems like a dream, doesn't it? SO much fun!
it looks like such a great show! Too bad about the rainout, though.
Those are some amazing quilts!
thanks for sharing that, Pétra, it looks fantastic in Sisters! One day i will see that show, too. And the quilts you picked are wonderful, especially the first one.
hope you have a great vacation right now!
