A Break From Our Regular Programming for an Important Blog Post

While I am down in the basement every day working on sewing, blogging, and textile design there's someone else down here as well, my husband. His office is on the other side where he has been working as an animator and more recently iPhone game designer. I just have to give him a little plug since he's not mentioned here that often but he's been working his ass off on his new game, Survivor Z, and it was released Sunday in time for the Walking Dead premiere!

His app is a text based roll playing game set 311 days after the ZDay apocalypse has wiped out 90% of the earth's population. In this game you can find zombies, survivors, and supplies out at your favorite coffee shop or grocery store. Sounds fun right! It's already broken into the top 200 apps. Maybe eventually I can get him to make a quilting app but luckily I like zombies. My Sunday nights are full now watching Walking Dead followed by Downton Abbey. Quite the dichotomy but I love it!

Too funny I love both too! As a family we watch walking dead, but since I'm the only female I'm all alone for downtown abbey

Awesome! How exciting for you guys! I still haven't watched the Walking Dead, but I know I will love it when I do.
