The Pacific Northwest MQG Meet-Up was so much fun! Here is last years post if you haven't heard about it. Last year I was on the board and helped organize the event which was in Seattle. This year I did help a little by contacting all of the stores that participated in the shop hop. It was much larger with 9 guilds from Canada, Washington, and Oregon meeting up in Portland.
Part of the event was a tote bag swap. After the tote I made for myself this summer I couldn't resist participating and there were so many beautiful totes I'm so happy I did.
Everyone that participated received a wonderful neutral "denim" fabric to use in their tote. Mine is pictured above and went to Barbara a local Portland member. I used scraps from Hudson's quilt and the fabric I was given.
This is the bag I received and I love how big and simple the design is!! It was made by Mims another local member and I can't wait to bring it to the next meeting.
I can't wait until next year I think we're all going to Canada!
